Lincolnshire Poachers Pate 

11/2 lb             Pheasant or other game bird

½                     Chopped pigs liver

1lb                   Pork sausage meat

 Pepper

 Salt

1                      Large onion

1lb                   Streaky bacon

1 tblspns         Chopped parsley

3tblsns            Brandy

 

Method: 

Line a loaf  tin with bacon, which should have rinds removed.  Mix all of the ingredients together, season well, fill loaf tin and fold bacon over the top.  Cover with tinfoil and cook in a slow oven for 3-4 hours in a tin of water.
